Your registration includes:

- Student Icebreaker event (for undergraduate and graduate students) on July 27, 2026 at The Nest Great Hall
- Conference Opening Ceremony on July 26, 2026 at Alumni Centre Jack Poole Hall
- Congress Banquet on July 31, 2026 at The Museum of Anthropology

Satellite Symposia: As part of the conference, there will be Satellite Symposia at an additional charge on July 25 and 26. Delegates should register for the Satellite Symposia through the form below.
Dinner Cruise: Delegates are invited to join an optional boat and dinner cruise on July 30, 2026, departing at 6:00 pm. Transportation from the congress site to and from the marina will be provided. Please note that this off-site activity carries an additional fee and space is limited. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The excursion includes a three-hour cruise along Vancouver’s inner harbour, dinner (fish, chicken and pasta entree options only), and a complimentary drink served on the yacht. Delegates should register through the form below. Further details including, pick up points, will be provided to delegates registered for this option.

Cancellation Policy – Registration cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to registration@housing.ubc.ca. Cancellations received on or before May 25, 2026 are eligible for a 100% refund, minus a $35 administrative fee. Cancellations received between May 26 and June 25, 2026 are eligible for a 50% refund, minus a $35 administrative fee. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after June 25, 2026. Refund requests may take up to 10 business days to process.
Visa-related cancellations: In cases where attendance is not possible due to visa denial or processing delays, delegates will receive a full refund minus a $35 administrative fee upon submission of official documentation from the relevant embassy or consulate, as long as documentation is received by June 25, 2026. Conference Registration Terms & Conditions – Fraud/Misrepresentation: The organizers reserve the right to refuse or cancel any registration, with or without notice, at their absolute discretion. No refunds will be provided to participants found to have misrepresented themselves, used false information, or engaged in fraudulent activity, including the submission of fake or misleading information to obtain a visa invitation letter. Furthermore, such individuals may be reported to the relevant immigration authorities.
Non-Refundable Registrations: No refund will be provided if a letter of invitation was used for fraudulent purposes or if the applicant is suspected of misrepresenting their intent to travel.
